Liverpool ace sends fans a message after undergoing hand surgery
LIVERPOOL goalkeeper Loris Karius has undergone a successful hand operation.
Loris Karius has sent Liverpool fans a message after surgery
Karius, who joined the Reds from Mainz this summer, broke his hand when he collided with Dejan Lovren against Chelsea last week.
The German returned home early from the club's tour of the United States and underwent surgery today.

Karius cost Liverpool £4.7million and was expected to challenge Simon Mignolet for the No.1 jersey this season.
"I'm back at home after a successful surgery! Thank you guys for all your get-well wishes!" Karius wrote after tweeting a picture of his bandaged hand.
Karius turned down a place in Germany's Olympic squad in order to fight for a starting place but injury now means Alex Manninger, the 39-year-old former Arsenal keeper, will now deputise for Mignolet for the start of the campaign.
