Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal: Juventus set to discuss striker with Napoli at meeting today
ARSENAL will learn later today whether Juventus have an agreement in place to sign Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports in Italy.
Corriere and Gazzetta claim Arsenal target Higuain could join Juventus
The Gunners are said to be keen on landing the Argentina international, 28, this summer.
Reports last week claimed they were considering a £42million offer plus Olivier Giroud for the Napoli striker.
Higuain has a £79m release clause in his contract that Arsenal are apparently unwilling to meet.
The duo were said to have scheduled a meeting to discuss Roberto Pereyra's switch from Turin to Naples.
But both newspapers claim the subject of Higuain will also be on the table.
De Laurentiis and Marotta are both expected to speak to media after today's events, with Arsenal no doubt monitoring the situation.
Gazzetta dello Sport also claim Napoli want to sign Milik as a replacement striker
Corriere dello Sport also run with Higuain's impending move this morning
Higuain has already supposedly snubbed a big-money move to China and will not force through an exit from Napoli.
However, the former Real Madrid frontman is open to leaving the Stadio San Paolo if the right offer comes in.
