Rangers star Martyn Waghorn speaks out amid exit speculation: I'm really happy at Ibrox
RANGERS striker Martyn Waghorn insists he wants to stay at Ibrox, despite speculation arising from the fact he and former Wigan team-mate James Tavernier have yet to agree new deals with the club.
Martyn Waghorn scored Rangers' second goal in their 2-0 win over Motherwell on Saturday
Both scored in the 2-0 Betfred Cup win at Motherwell – and Waghorn said: “I’m really happy here. I had a very good season last year and I’ve got two years left on my deal. A lot of stuff has gone on and that’s up to my agent to deal with.
"I’m just concentrating on my football but my family are settled here and I just want to kick on this season.
“There’s some paperwork going on,” he said. “If we can get that completed, it will be a good one for us and I would like to involve him on Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, Well striker Louis Moult is to have groin surgery and will be out for six weeks.
