Transfer News: Spurs' Gotze rivalry, Liverpool sale tomorrow, Real react to Man Utd swoop
EXPRESS SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news.
Gotze (left), Benteke and Gomes (right) may all be on the move this summer
Tottenham have a rival in their pursuit of Bayern Munich forward Mario Gotze, according to reports.
Spurs are said to be interested in £20million-rated Gotze, with fellow suitors Liverpool out of the race to sign him.
But Juventus have emerged as rivals for the 24-year-old World Cup winner, who is out of contract at Bayern next summer.
Christian Benteke has agreed terms with Crystal Palace and could secure a move away from Liverpool by close of play on Monday, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Liverpool want to sell Benteke, 25, as manager Jurgen Klopp seeks to free up space for his own attacking signings this summer.
The Belgium international scored just 10 goals in his debut season at Liverpool, having arrived on Merseyside from Aston Villa in a £32.5m deal last summer.
It is claimed Liverpool want £32m for the frontman and that everything is agreed between all parties bar the transfer fee.
Paul Pogba scores a beauty for Man United's youth team in 2011
Real Madrid have reacted to Manchester United's move to sign Paul Pogba by chasing Andre Gomes instead.
Real manager Zinedine Zidane was keen to land French compatriot Pogba this summer.
But the Bernabeu club will not meet Juventus' £100m valuation.
Express Sport understands United are edging closer to re-signing their former youth player and are happy to match Juve's demands.
And Zidane, on the lookout for a midfielder, has turned his focus on Valencia's Gomes.
That is according to Sky Sports, who claim a £42m bid is in the pipeline.
Chelsea have supposedly had a £40m bid for Gomes rejected as La Liga side Valencia seek to cash in on their star man.
Portugal international Gomes is on the bench tonight as his country face France in the Euro 2016 final, while Pogba starts for Les Bleus.
