Juan Mata to Everton: Ronald Koeman confirms interest in Manchester United ace
RONALD KOEMAN admits a deal for Manchester United’s Juan Mata is possible.
Juan Mata could be on his way to Everton
The Spaniard’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt following the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese sold Mata to United in 2014 when he was manager of Chelsea after having question marks about his defensive capabilities.
And the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan means Mata may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Everton, backed by billionaire shareholder Farhad Moshiri, have been heavily linked with the 28-year-old, who has appeared more than 100 times for United and scored 26 goals.

And when asked by fans whether a deal for Mata was on the cards, Koeman said: "Yes, it is possible.”
Everton have so far made one signing in the transfer window with the arrival of Maarten Stekelenburg.
