Arsenal club legend Kenny Sansom says he wants to be "involved with the England job" as the FA continue their search for a new manager.
Sansom, 57, played over 300 games for Arsenal during an eight-year stint in the 1980s.
He has never managed at club level but earned 86 caps for England during his playing career.
I want to be involved with the @England job. I really have something to offer our country. This is for real, I know I can make a difference.

In transfer news, Bayern Munich reportedly want to sign Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny.
New Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti is seeking fresh faces ahead of next season and German newspaper Bild claim Koscielny is on his radar.
Frenchman Koscielny is currently on international duty preparing for Les Bleus' Euro 2016 quarter-final clash with Iceland on Sunday.
The defender's contract expires next summer and Arsenal are said to be already seeking a new recruit in that position to partner him for the 2016/17 season.

Alexis Sanchez has posted images of a gruesome injury he sustained in Chile's Copa America final against Argentina.
The Arsenal star was lucky not to do serious damage when Argentina defender Gabriel Mercado scythed him down during the game in the USA.
Chile won the final on penalties to defend the title they won last summer.
