West Ham swoop for free transfer defender: La Liga, Serie A and Turkish sides keen
WEST HAM have made a last ditch bid to sign Cameroon international Nicolas N’Koulou, according to reports.
Nicolas N'Koulou has been capped 68 times by Cameroon since making his debut in 2008
The 26-year-old has spent the last five years with Marseille, having joined from Monaco in 2011.
And he has racked up 205 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring five goals.
Meanwhile, the same financial situation which has forced N’Koulou out of Marseille may provide a boost to Michy Batshuayi’s English suitors.
The Belgium hitman, who scored in his country’s 4-0 Euro 2016 victory over Hungary last night, is said to be on West Ham and Tottenham’s radars.
And he may be sacrificed, with Marseille required to raise just over £20million to balance their books by July 5.
