Striker travels to England for training ahead of Premier League move: West Ham must up bid
TOULOUSE striker Martin Braithwaite is training in England to help secure a Premier League move this summer.
Nine of Martin Braithwaite's 11 Ligue 1 goals last term for Toulouse came via his right foot
The 25-year-old impressed in Ligue 1 last season as he bagged 11 goals to help Toulouse survive the drop.
And his performances are said to have alerted a number of English clubs, with West Ham, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Hull all keeping tabs on Braithwaite.
According to the Daily Mail, the Hammers have made a £2.5million bid for the speedy forward but the offer was rejected.
The Hammers are open to offers for Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho while they target a prolific goalscorer this summer.
Their pursuit of Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette remains ongoing following a £32m rejected bid, but a second striker is being eyed too.
Braithwaite can also play on the wing, and his cheap price-tag could see the Hammers bring the Toulouse man to London.
