Zlatan Ibrahimovic set for Manchester United medical after Euro 2016
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC is set to have a medical at Manchester United after Euro 2016, according to reports.
United are preparing to give Ibrahimovic a medical after Euro 2016
Sky Sports claim that United were unable to complete the deal for the striker before Euro 2016 started but are now making plans for a medical examination, the final stage of the deal, once the tournament is over.
Express Sport understands Ibrahimovic was identified as a primary transfer target early on by newly installed manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss was appointed last month after Louis van Gaal was sacked.
Despite the 34-year-old's relative old age, United are not expecting any problems with the medical given his superb physical condition.
However, that assumes Ibrahimovic does not pick up any injuries in the course of Sweden's remaining fixtures at Euro 2016.
The national team captain will lead his side out against Italy on Friday (2pm) before they face Belgium in their final Group E clash on Wednesday June 22 (8pm).
