CHELSEA are reportedly considering a surprise swoop for Juventus' Alvaro Morata after Arsenal dropped their interest in the striker.

Morata, 24, could join Real Madrid in a cut-price £23million deal before being immediately offloaded at a profit.
Real have a clause in his contract agreed when they originally sold Morata to Juve back in 2013 and are considering exercising that option.
Arsenal were favourites to sign the striker from Real.
But the Gunners' move to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester reportedly means Chelsea now have a free run at Morata.
AS claim Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on landing Morata after being forced into a new striker search following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea will not compete in Europe next season after finishing the previous campaign 10th in the Premier League.

As for Arsenal, a decision from Vardy over his future was expected this morning after the Gunners triggered his £20m release clause.
Leicester are reportedly preparing a new contract for the England international, who signed a three-year, £60,000-a-week deal at the King Power Stadium in February.
The Foxes are supposedly interested in signing Watford's Troy Deeney as a replacement should Vardy move to the Emirates.
