West Brom ace open to Swansea move to boost national team chances
WEST BROM defender James Chester has opened the door for a move to Swansea.
James Chester made 12 Premier League appearances for West Brom this season
The Swans were knocked-back in January by West Brom for the £8million centre-back. But Chester is eager to resurrect his Premier League form alongside Wales team-mate Ashley Williams at the Liberty Stadium.
Chester, 27, said: "I have a great relationship with Ash both on and off the pitch and there was interest from Swansea in January.
"Whenever someone was back from injury then I was usually the person who missed out.
"It was frustrating because I feel I'm good enough to play every week in the Premier League. It almost cost me my place in the Wales team."
