Liverpool to beat Manchester United to Higuain
Liverpool have emerged as favourites to sign goal-machine Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports.
The Argentinian striker has been in red-hot form for Napoli this season with 36 goals in just 35 Serie A appearances.
But he is thought to be keen to leave Italy and new United boss Jose Mourinho is already said to have held talks with the player's brother over a move.
The former Mainz goalkeeper sealed a £4.7m move to Anfield last week and was handed the No. 1 shirt.
But while Mignolet remains Klopp's first choice for the moment, Karius is confident of displacing him.
“I wanted the no.1 shirt because I was wearing it at Mainz – and I want to be the no.1 here at Liverpool," Karius said.
