Shock Man Utd raid: Jose Mourinho wants Arsenal and Leicester pair at Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED manager will look to bring Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck back to Old Trafford this summer.
Jose Mourinho wants Danny Welbeck
That is according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, who have slashed the England international's odds of returning to his boyhood club from 8/1 to 3/1.
Welbeck, who rose through the ranks at Old Trafford, left United for Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer of 2014 for £16million.
And Mourinho, whose three-year deal at United was announced earlier today, is keen to re-sign Welbeck as prepares for summer overhaul.
The odds of Mourinho making a move for Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel have also tumbled from 6/1 to 4/1, with David De Gea continuing to be linked with Real Madrid.

The pair could follow out-of-contract Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford, with the odds of the Swede's move currently suspended.
Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin said: “Expect to see an overhaul of the Old Trafford squad. The betting suggests there's a good chance Welbeck will return home to join Mourinho’s Man United revolution.”
