RYAN GIGGS will reportedly be offered the job of Manchester United’s Under-21 manager.
Ryan Giggs is set to be offered the job as boss of Manchester United’s Under-21s
Express Sport understands the Red Devils will announce Jose Mourinho as their new manager this week following yesterday's sacking of Louis van Gaal.
But that has left Giggs' future at the club in doubt, with Mourinho wanting to bring his own backroom team to Old Trafford.
Sky Sports claim the former Chelsea boss wants to hire his trusted deputy Rui Faria as his assistant manager, meaning Giggs would be out of a job.
However the Sun now claim Giggs will be offered the role of Under-21 manager.
The report adds Mourinho wants to keep the Welshman on as part of his new managerial team.
Current second-team manager Warren Joyce has been approached by Blackburn about becoming their new manager, possibly leaving the position open for Giggs.
