MANCHESTER CITY are set to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Manchester City set to announce Ilkay Gundogan deal
That is according to German publication Bild, who claim City will announce the signing at some point today.
The Germany international will reportedly join City for an initial £20million, rising to £23m with add-ons.
Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has made no secret of his desire to keep the 25-year-old, but his exit has been expected after he refused to sign a new deal at the Bundesliga club.
Gundogan will become the first signing of Pep Guardiola's City reign, with the Spaniard coming in to replace Manuel Pellegrini this summer.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool have both been linked with a move for the Nurnberg midfielder, who has three goals and seven assists to his name this season.
Arsene Wenger is keen to rebuild his midfield with Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini all leaving, while Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of Gundogan following his time at Dortmund.
