Arsenal stunned as £30m star sends message to club over deal
GRANIT XHAKA wants his future to be resolved by the start of Euro 2016.
Xhaka could overlook Arsenal if they fail to reach an agreement before Euro 2016
Arsenal's midfield is in need of reinforcement this summer with Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta all set to leave the club at the end of their contracts.
The Gunners have been tracking Xhaka for some time and Arsene Wenger is said to see the 23-year-old as the perfect man to challenge Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere for a place in the starting line-up.
But the Swiss has now revealed that he does not want a potential transfer to drag on beyond June 10.
And having made himself a key member of the side in Germany - he has 134 appearances to his name - he is expected to command a far higher fee this summer.
Monchengladbach are desperate to hang onto their man and are reportedly only willing to accept bids in the region of £30m.
