According to The Mirror, the Gunners are lining up a £30million move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge ahead of the summer transfer window.
Manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly a long-term admirer of the England international and is aware he needs to sign a world-class striker at the Emirates.
Meanwhile, The Sun claim Arsenal have made a bid for Bolton defender Rob Holding, who has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign for the relegated Championship side.
Holding was withdrawn from Saturday's squad for their final Championship game of the season with Fulham and it's said to be because of Arsenal's approach on Friday afternoon.
The Trotters are reportedly looking to agree a performance-based deal in excess of £5m for the 20-year-old defender, who is also a target for Everton, Bournemouth and Celtic.

And finally, £40m Arsenal target Riyad Mahrez has decided to stick by Leicester and will remain at the Premier League champions for at least another season.
Asked if he would definitely stay next season, he said: “Yeah, yeah. I am very happy and very proud to have this trophy. Some things are just amazing.”
