Charlton 0 - Burnley 3: Clarets clinch Championship title amid Addicks boss resignation
BURNLEY clinched the title with a thumping 3-0 win over already-relegated Charlton at The Valley.
Burnley end the season on 93 points - the same tally as when they were promoted in 2014
But those celebrations were overshadowed by Jose Riga resigning as manager of relegated Charlton.
His moved followed an afternoon of disruptions to the game by fans aimed at club owner Roland Duchatelet.
The Football League had already decided not to present Burnley with the trophy due to concerns over crowd control.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche said: "It is disappointing but the authorities have made that decision."
