Tottenham ace may face suspension: FA probe likely after Costa incident
TOTTENHAM ace Mousa Dembele may miss the rest of the Premier League season following an incident during his side's clash with Chelsea tonight.
Tottenham went into tonight's game knowing anything less than a win would hand Leicester the title
The Spurs midfielder appeared to gouge the eye of Blues forward Diego Costa as the sides went in for half time of a fiercely contested affair at Stamford Bridge.
The incident was seen by match referee Mark Clattenburg, though neither player was booked.
However, the Belgian international could be cited by the FA who will tomorrow decide whether to charge Robert Huth and Marouane Fellaini following an incident in yesterday's Old Trafford clash.
Dembele's team-mate Dele Alli was last week handed a three-game ban after the FA charged him with violent conduct for striking West Brom's Claudio Yacob.
A similar ban would rule the 28-year-old out of Spurs' remaining Premier League fixtures, against Southampton and Newcastle, as well as the opening game of next season.
Dembele has featured in 29 of Tottenham's Premier League games so far this term.
