Mario Gotze to Liverpool: Bayern Munich chief opens up on future talks
BAYERN MUNICH will talk about Mario Gotze's future next month, according to the club's CEO.
Rummenigge is expecting to discuss Gotze's future at Bayern next month
Gotze joined Bayern in 2013 from Borussia Dortmund and has racked up 112 appearances for the club since his arrival.
But only 19 of those matches have come this season and he has played in a number of different positions as he struggles to nail down a role in the first team.
And Express Sport understands former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is interested in offering the World Cup winner an escape from Munich this summer by bringing him to Liverpool.
But Dortmund CEO Jans-Joachim Watzke this week hinted that a move could be possible.
"If he returns we have to talk with the fans and he has to explain how he left for Bayern, but I don't think that they won't give him a second chance," Watzke said.
