Andreas Christensen may not return to Chelsea after his Gladbach loan

He is on a two-year loan stint in Germany and this season has helped Gladbach challenge for European places.

Kurt Zouma is also out with a knee injury and could miss the start of next season.
Incoming manager Antonio Conte will be given a hefty transfer budget to revitalise the Blues squad and Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci is thought to be on his shopping list.
And Christensen, a burgeoning Denmark international, will likely remain at Gladbach on loan terms next season before a decision is made on his future.
