United crashed out of Europe after a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side last Thursday.
But they regrouped to stun Manchester City 1-0 at the Etihad and move to within a point of fourth place in the Premier League.
Schneiderlin started both games for the Red Devils and insists there is plenty more to come with just eight games of the season remaining.
"It is a great feeling to win, especially for our fans after the disappointment of the Europa League defeat against Liverpool," Schneiderlin told MUTV.
"We knew it was a massive game for ourselves as well as our fans and the club."

United host Everton on April 3 after the international break and France midfielder Schneiderlin is already targeting three points.
"We must make sure we win the game against Everton," he added.
"We have some time to recover and to enjoy this victory with the international break but, against Everton, it will be even bigger than Sunday because if we want to do something [in the league] we need to confirm it with another win.”
United currently sit sixth in the Premier League, a point off City and six ahead of ninth-place Liverpool.
