Juan Cuadrado has impressed for Juventus
Manchester United have received a major boost in their attempts to sign Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez.
The 21-year-old has contract until 2020 but the club are looking to extend his deal.
However Spanish outlet Don Balon say Niguez is refusing to renew his contract and Atletico are now looking at alternative options like Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Mario as a replacement.
Walsh and Shakespeare hold key roles within the Foxes as head of recruitment and coach respectively.
But according to the Daily Mail, they are set to sign new contracts keeping them at the King Power stadium.
Juan Cuadrado - Spotlight on
Juventus are still hopeful of keeping Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado at the club.
The Colombian has impressed on loan in Turin this season after failed to settle at Stamford Bridge.
Director general Beppe Marotta said: “The fact Antonio Conte is going to Chelsea just confirms that we made a good choice when we took him from Siena. I am proud of this and for him.
“Cuadrado? I don’t think Conte will influence our decision. We could keep him here.”
