The Brentwood Gazette claimed a £25m deal was in the offering for the England international.
But The Mail on Sunday report that that figure could drop by £5m after Klopp revealed he is open to selling Henderson for the right price.
“Let’s not say it’s Hendo, but any player who comes to me and says he doesn’t feel comfortable and wants to leave, then you always have to start thinking.
“If a player wants to go to another club I’d always be open because I don’t want to have a player in my squad who doesn’t want to be in it.
"These are problems you don’t need in a season.”
West Ham have also been linked with swoops for Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette in recent days.
They are all set to move into their new 60,000-seater Olympic Stadium home next season and could secure a Champions League spot for the coming campaign.
