Arsenal ended a difficult week - in which they exited the FA Cup and Champions League - with a first league victory in a month to keep their faint title hopes alive.
Iwobi netted his first senior goal - after Danny Welbeck's opener - to secure the win and help lift the Gunners to within eight points of league leaders Leicester.
The 19-year-old showcased his pace as he raced through to collect Hector Bellerin's long pass before advancing to beat Joel Robles with a cool finish.
"I enjoyed the moment, but I'm happy the team won," he said. "I enjoy training with Danny, he gives me confidence and despite recent results we are all confident in training."

Welbeck added: “It’s been a difficult couple of weeks so it was good to get back to winning ways and have something to build on.
"Going a goal up early on makes a big difference, and it set the standard for the rest of the game.”
