Luis Enrique: How Barcelona will bore Arsenal to defeat
LUIS ENRIQUE says Barcelona will play 'keep ball' against Arsenal as they prepare for tomorrow's face-off at the Nou Camp.
Luis Enrique's Barcelona have won eight games on the bounce
Barca head into the Champions League last-16 second leg 2-0 up from the reverse encounter in London last month.
Two goals from Lionel Messi was enough to see off Arsenal, who struggled to create chances.
Barca are firm favourites to reach the quarter-finals, with Arsenal facing a sixth successive last-16 exit.
And Enrique says the best way to stop Arsenal is to stifle their attacking play by dominating possession.
"The 2–0 scoreline in the first leg will influence the game but it doesn't change our intention to win," he said.
"In London we overcame what Arsenal threw at us, and tomorrow we have to do it again.
"If we keep the ball we won't see Arsenal's strikers. That's one of our weapons."
Barcelona v Arsenal - Champions League match preview
Barca head into the fixture unbeaten since October and on an eight-game winning streak.
But Enrique wants them to get even better.
"When we're winning there many aspects of the game you have to keep improving," Enrique added.
"The work the players have done brings us closer to the overall goal we have.
"There are always aspects that can be improved, why is so complex football."
