Revealed: Arsenal approached this striker in January but Man Utd deny making bid
MANCHESTER UNITED have hit back at reports suggesting they wanted to sign Nigerian youngster Victor Osimhen before he agreed to join Wolfsburg.

United reportedly offered the 17-year-old a contract in January after he impressed with 10 goals to help guide Nigeria to the Under-17 World Cup.
However, Allnigeriasoccer.com claim United's head of youth recruitment Derek Langley has denied they were ever interested in any of the Nigeria U17s stars.
Osimhen agreed to join Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in January, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal from Ultimate Strikers Academy with effect from the turn of 2017.
Allnigeriasoccer.com go on to claim Premier League rival Arsenal did make an approach for the striker, along with Inter Milan, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon and Anderlecht.

Kelechi Nwakali has agreed a five-year deal at Arsenal
The Gunners did, however, secure the services of his compatriot Kelechi Nwakali, who has agreed a deal at the Emirates until 2021 earlier this month.
He said: "I just came back from London; I have signed a five-year contract with Arsenal. So many teams were interested in me, but it has been my dream at a tender age to play for Arsenal."
