Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp eyeing German international as replacement for Alberto Moreno
JURGEN KLOPP is reportedly targeting left-back Jonas Hector as a replacement for Alberto Moreno.
Jonas Hector is being lined-up as a replacement for Alberto Moreno
The Spaniard has come under criticism in recent weeks for his performances in Liverpool's defence, with former Red Jon Aldridge blasting the 23-year-old's decision making.
“Moreno can look good going forward at times, but positionally he leaves us wide open," he said.
“He doesn't read when to bomb forward and when to sit, and he's so rash in his decision-making."
And German newspaper Bild claim Klopp has now decided to move Moreno on in the summer, with FC Koln's Hector targeted as a possible replacement.
The report adds the Reds have been scouting the 25-year-old, who could be available for around £6million.
Hector, who joined Koln from SV Auersmacher in 2010, has 10 caps for Germany.
