Man United and Chelsea rocked as Barcelona make approach for £34m Paris-Saint Germain star
BARCELONA have reportedly made an approach for Man United and Chelsea target Marquinhos.
Marquinhos is eyeing a move to Barcelona
The Brazilian defender has been at Paris-Saint Germain since 2013 but has been unable to establish himself in his favoured centre-back position.
Compatriots Thiago Silva and David Luiz are ahead of him in the pecking and he has been forced to settle for a place at right-back.
Last month, Marquinhos admitted he was growing tired of being on the bench.
He said: "Like everyone else, I always want to be a part of the starting line-up. But we all must respect the choices of the coach and management.
"I will continue to work to get my place. But it's true there will come a moment where I am older - you cannot just get used to sitting on the bench."
In recent weeks, he has deputised for Serge Aurier, who was suspended by the club for gross misconduct.

But despite this, Marquinhos has set his heart on leaving PSG and joining Barcelona according to Le10Sport.
The news will disappoint United and Chelsea who have both been linked with £34m bid for the player.
