Guus Hiddink: Why Chelsea need to announce their next manager soon
GUUS HIDDINK has urged Chelsea to make the announcement over their next manager as soon as possible.
Guus Hiddink wants transparency
Antonio Conte is the favourite to be the next boss at Stamford Bridge when Hiddink leaves in the summer.
Hiddink is in interim charge following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December.
And Express Sport understands that Conte has been given a tour of the Cobham training ground and reports suggests he has agreed a three-year deal worth £7million a season.
Hiddink said: "I'm always in favour when things are done to make it transparent. Of course this club is searching now.
"They like experienced managers and there are a lot. It's up to them to make up their mind, to make their decisions.
"(Will Conte take over?) You have heard more than I. You have to search around where the rumours are.
"My job is to just concentrate on the next game, I'm not involved in this. That's all you can get from me."
