Chelsea offer £25m deal to winger in desperate move to avoid transfer
CHELSEA have offered midfielder Willian a new £120,000-a-week contract in a desperate attempt to keep him at the club, according to reports.
Willian has been one of Chelsea's star performers this season
The Blues are said to have opened talks with the midfielder over a four-year deal.
It would see the 27-year-old earn just under £25million until 2020.
Chelsea are reportedly concerned that Willian's improved performances this season have attracted the eye of suitors across Europe's other major leagues.
It is claimed Willian, who still has two and a half years left of his current contract, is the first of a number of stars who could be offered improved deals.
The Brazil international boasts 10 goals for the season.
He cost Chelsea £30million when they snapped him up from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.
