Revealed: That huge wages on offer for striker if he agrees Chelsea move
RADAMEL FALCAO could earn more than the £135,000-a-week wages he gets at Chelsea if he moves to the Chinese Super League.
Radamel Falcao could quit Chelsea and Monaco for China
Falcao, 30, is one of Chelsea's top earners after the club brought him in on loan from Monaco at the start of the season.
The Colombia international has not played for the Ligue 1 club for 18 months because they cannot afford his wages.
He is not wanted at Chelsea but is contracted to the Blues until the end of the season.
Chinese clubs have until 26 February to complete deals and can even sign players from a club whose window is shut.
Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Alex Teixeira have all left Europe for China over recent weeks.
It is added that Falcao could even be given a pay rise to quit Chelsea this month.
Jiangsu Suning, who bagged Chelsea midfielder Ramires in a £25million deal last month, are reportedly keen on Falcao.
But he could just as equally be signed by the league itself and then farmed out to one of their lower-ranked clubs, much like the MLS do.
Ramires, 28, is paid £200,000 a week at Shanghai and it is though Falcao will command a similar deal.
