Antonio Conte to make £70m Chelsea target first signing if he succeeds Guus Hiddink
CHELSEA will make a £70million move for Paul Pogba if they appoint Antonio Conte as their new manager, according to reports.
Chelsea have designs on Paul Pogba
Conte has emerged as a candidate as the Blues plan for life after Guus Hiddink.
Diego Simeone and Massimo Allegri have also been placed on Roman Abramovich’s shortlist, although the latter has denied he has an agreement in place with the west London outfit.
Juventus superstar Pogba was tracked by Chelsea last summer, but failed to step up their interest.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues have already held a round of talks with Italy head coach Conte, who is keen on a return to club management.
It is thought Chelsea handed him a list of transfer targets and Conte made it clear Pogba would be his first choice.

The report also suggests Paris Saint-Germain duo Marco Verratti and Ezequiel Lavezzi were also on the wishlist.
Conte and Pogba know each other well as they won back-to-back Serie A titles together at Juve.
