Guus Hiddink: Why I'm not worried about Diego Costa ahead of Chelsea's clash with Man Utd
GUUS HIDDINK admits he is not worried about Chelsea being reliant upon Diego Costa for goals.
Diego Costa has scored eight Premier League goals this season
Costa has only scored eight Premier League goals this season.
But he has improved hugely since Hiddink arrived, after suffering a loss of from earlier in the season.
And despite the Dutchman admitting his team can be too reliant upon the Spaniard, he believes they can score goals from all over the field.
“I said before the FA Cup games we must not just depend on Diego regarding the goals,” the Chelsea boss said.
“And they responded, so we need to attackers to finish it off
“He [Diego] is used to doing that [scoring the majority of goals] but I am not worried if he doesn’t score.
“Other player must take their opportunities. We prepare them and we are depending on their contribution on the day.
“Whenever they can score they should try to do it, we don’t say don’t score from distance.”
