Chelsea agree £11.5m deal for second striker hours after Pato signs
CHELSEA have accepted an £11.5million offer from Leicester for Loic Remy, according to reports.
Loic Remy is set to join Premier League high-flyers Leicester
The France international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this January, with Newcastle as well as the Foxes showing interest.
However, according to talkSPORT's Ben Jacobs, the 29-year-old has opted for a move to the King Power, rather than a return to Tyneside.
The report claims the deal was originally set to be a loan move with the option to buy, however, the Blues pushed for an immediate £11.5m fee.
Leicester have been in the market for another striker as back-up for Jamie Vardy following the loan exit of Andrej Kramaric to Hoffenheim.
However, it seems to get Remy they had to offer all the cash now. 11.5m is the price I am quoted.

The deal comes just hours after Alexandre Pato's move to Stamford bridge was confirmed - on loan until the end of the season.
“I am so happy to sign for Chelsea. It is a dream for me," he said.
