Burak Yilmaz waved a possible goodbye to Galatasaray fans when scoring at the weekend
Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz is reportedly closing in on a move to West Ham.
The Turkey international has been a long-term target of the Hammers and a deal is looking more and more likely.
According to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, West Ham have offered £5.3 million for the 30-year-old which will rise to £6 million if the east London club secure European football this term.
Yilmaz scored in a 3-2 defeat for Galatasaray on Saturday but missed training yesterday amid speculation over his future.
