Liverpool set to make club record bid for international ace
LIVERPOOL look set to make a club record bid for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka, according to reports.
Granit Xhaka has scored three goals in 16 games for Borussia Mönchengladbach this season
German newspaper Bild claim the Reds are considering a £37million bid for the Switzerland international, trumping the £35m they paid for Andy Carroll in 2011.

"At the moment I prefer not to say too much," Ragip Xhaka said.
"We’ll see what happens. I can say that several big clubs are interested. Everything is possible, we’re not ruling anything out."
Arsenal, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Napoli are also reportedly interested in Xhaka.
