Serbian Marko Grujic completed his medical yesterday and is all set to be announced as a Liverpool player this week.
The 19-year-old has agreed terms on a £5.1m move from Red Star Belgrade.
And the Reds are also close to sealing a move for Kamil Grabara from Ruch Chorzow.
The 16-year-old Polish keeper will join for £730,000 and is set for a medical at Melwood this week, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Jurgen Klopp appears to be looking to the future with his first moves in the January transfer window, although he is expected to add to his first team squad as well this month.
