Liverpool plot late January move to beat Manchester United to Lazio star
LIVERPOOL want to snap up Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia this month, according to reports in Italy.
Lucas Biglia is on Liverpool and Manchester United's radar
Biglia, a defensive midfielder, is set to leave Lazio this winter.
The Argentina international, 29, is on the Reds' radar, however they face competition from Manchester United.
Biglia, 29, joined Lazio in 2013 from Anderlecht and has 37 international caps.
He's made 12 Serie A starts this season but is keen to move on.
Jurgen Klopp has identified him as a potential signing this month but Louis van Gaal is also keen.
Van Gaal is also reportedly close to the signing of Biglia's teammate Felipe Anderson in a £35million deal.
