Matteo Darmian is January target for Serie A champions Juventus, according to reports in Italy.
The defender, who returned to the United side in the goalless draw with Chelsea after injury, made a strong start to his career at Old Trafford.
But he has struggled for form and Juventus now want to sign him on loan with the option of buying for £11million (€15m) in the summer.
Chelsea players believe Wayne Rooney should have seen red for his tackle on Oscar.
The United captain caught the Brazilian on the shin but only received a yellow card from referee Martin Atkinson.
John Obi Mikel said: "I didn't see the tackle, but from what I've heard it was a bit high.
"The other players were talking about it at the end and they said he should have been sent off. Oscar is fine though."

Despite an improved performance in the 0-0 draw with Chelsea, United slipped to sixth in the Premier League and manager Louis van Gaal's future is still in doubt.
But Smalling insists the players are still behind Van Gaal.
He said: "If anything we are all playing for our own futures as well, so there's not a case of no one not playing for the manager.
"Every week we want to go out there and show everyone what a good team we are and on our day we can beat anyone."
