The Argentine used to look at English football with envy due to the loyalty offered to the man in charge.
But in the wake of Jose Mourinho's removal from Chelsea, Pochettino has revealed his dismay that money is preventing managers from stamping their mark on club infrastructures.
"It is a lesson for all of us," he said. "You need to focus on the present, work hard and try to avoid different things. It is difficult to see what will happen in weeks or months. Football is running in a different way.
"The problem with football is that the patience is short. Today more than 10 years ago. Before there were examples of spending five, six or eight years to win the title and you were still in charge. Now it is so quick and can change.
