Joe Hart demands faltering Manchester City improve by one million per cent
JOE HART has told Manchester City to "get their heads together" to avoid blowing their chance of winning the Premier League title.
England No 1 Joe Hart is worried that inconsistent Man City could fall behind in the title race
City are just three points off top spot but Hart has called for immediate improvements, starting at championship rivals Arsenal on Monday.
"We need to be a million per cent better. We need to step up," he said. "We can be awesome when we want to be so we need to be more consistent, that's what we're looking for."
Manuel Pellegrini's side have stayed in touch with the pace-setters, despite some below-par performances, which included last Saturday's 2-1 win over Swansea when they needed an injury-time deflected goal.
Captain Vincent Kompany is again set to be missing against the Gunners and Hart hopes City's shaky defence can cope better until he gets back.
He said: "Vinny would say the same thing. He knows it's a team effort. It's not just him. If we could keep the whole squad fit then we'll be in a better place."
