The Frenchman was snapped leaving Wing's restaurant with four friends in the city last night, a known favourite of United boss Louis van Gaal.
And according to the photographer from Eamonn & James Clarke, the 22-year-old said he 'loved Manchester' when asked what he was doing there.
Pogba left Old Trafford in 2012 after making only three Premier League appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson, but the Red Devils have since renewed their interest in the star.
As have Chelsea, who were linked with a £70million bid for the midfielder last summer and league leaders Manchester City.

The France international's agent, Raiola, has stated in recent weeks his client's desire to remain with Juventus through January.
However, all three clubs will have had their interest piqued by this latest revelation that he could be tempted into a move in June.

"He won't move in January. He expressed his desire to finish the year at Juve, and the big players rarely move in January, he told Radio Sportiva.
"June, however, is very far away. In terms of the transfer market, it's a different time, almost a different century."
