According to the Manchester Evening News, Louis van Gaal has included academy product Marcus Rashford in his match day squad for tomorrow's trip to Watford.
And the 18-year-old forward could be handed a start with Anthony Martial and makeshift striker Marouane Fellaini both injured and Wayne Rooney missing through illness.
Meanwhile, United defender Chris Smalling has handed Van Gaal a much-needed injury boost after he limped off in England's defeat to Spain during the international break.
The 25-year-old said: "I’m fighting fit and I’m feeling good to go again. I’m looking forward to making another impact on Saturday."
