Barcelona boss offers blunt update in £12.6m Arsenal battle over star man Nolito
BARCELONA are in "no rush" to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Notilo, claims technical director Roberto Fernandez.
Arsenal and Barcelona both reportedly want to sign Nolito
That is despite Arsenal's reported interest in the winger, who is subject to a transfer battle as the January window approaches.
He is one of a number of midfield targets Barca are looking to sign as soon as their transfer embargo is lifted.
Celta have opened talks with the Spaniard in effort to lock him down to a long-term deal and also increase that clause to £17.5m.
But the player recently came out and said he would not sign any agreement until an unspecified detail was met.
"There is a detail that is not resolved and while it is not settled, I will not sign," he said on Wednesday.
"I have a three-and-a-half-year contract and a clause of €18m (£12.6m)."
