Liverpool and Tottenham to fight over Fiorentina's star striker in January
LIVERPOOL and Tottenham are to battle it out for Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar, according to reports.
Khouma Babacar has been on fire for Fiorentina this season
The Viola currently sit top of Serie A, thanks in part to star striker Babacar, who has netted five times in nine games in all competitions.
However, the Italian club may find it hard to keep hold of him as Liverpool and Tottenham have both been linked with the 22-year-old.
TalkSPORT report that the Senegal youth international wants a move away and is keen on the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to strengthen his attacking options in January, following Danny Ings' long-term injury and Daniel Sturridge's continued absence.
Khouma Babacar has scored five goals in all competitions this season
Although, Mauricio Pochettino may also look to add fire power to his strike-force, with just Harry Kane and Clinton Njie to rely on.
Babacar made his Fiorentina debut aged just sixteen but has spent three seasons out on loan prior to this campaign.
His best loan spell was at Serie B side Modena in 2013, where he scored 20 goals in 41 appearances.
