Boost for Jose Mourinho as Chelsea star confirms new contract
YOUNG Chelsea defender Alex Davey has signed a new contract to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Alex Davey has been with Chelsea for 10 years
The 20-year-old, who has been with the club for ten years, is currently on loan at Peterborough United.
He has made nine appearances so far and impressed enough for his loan spell to be extended until the beginning of January 2016.

On Twitter, he said: "Happy to have signed another contract with @ChelseaFC, it's been 10 years at the club now loved every minute of it."
Davey is just one of 33 Chelsea players out on loan this season.
