Jose Mourinho is adamant he doesn’t need any more reassurances over his future.
The Portuguese tactician saw his side unravel again last night, this time away to Stoke in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.
Though reports have emerged suggesting Mourinho could be given the boot, he insists he is ‘relaxed’ over his future.
“I don't need it. I don't need more [reassurances],” Mourinho said.
“My general situation is fantastic. I have a day off tomorrow [on Wednesday], I have a fantastic family, I can sleep well every night.”
Mourinho confirmed Diego Costa was taken to hospital with a rib injury.
Costa limped off after just 33 minutes against Stoke last night and was replaced by Loic Remy.
And Chelsea broke the news via their Twitter account.

Liverpool fans were happy to poke fun at Chelsea after their torrid display against Stoke.
Costa picked up an injury during the first half and Reds fan took delight at the Blues’ misfortune.
One fan tweeted: “Diego Costa.. is that Spanish for Daniel Sturridge, both never injured!! #LFC.”
Mourinho’s reign as Blues boss could hinge on the result of Saturday’s match against Liverpool.
