Ings was ruled out for the entire season after suffering serious knee ligament damage last week.
But Balotelli has given the stricken star some words of encouragement.
”Danny come back soon,” he said.
“You will come back stronger my friend. I wish you al the best and quick recovery”
The 23-year-old moved to Merseyside in the summer after his contract with Burnley expired.
He appeared to be hitting the kind of form that prompted former Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers to make a move in the first place, before his campaign was cruelly cut short.
Balotelli’s message comes after it was suggested he might return to the club from AC Milan to provide cover for Ings.

With Christian Benteke also currently missing, manager Jurgen Klopp has just Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge in attack.
The Italian, who is on loan in Milan, hinted at a return himself, although it remains to be seen whether the club have an option to cut his deal short.
Some fans have voiced their concerns at a lack of cover up-front and would welcome him back with open arms.
The 25-year-old was signed for £16million from Milan last summer and struggled to settle under Rodgers, but Klopp might have other ideas for him.
