Jurgen Klopp Manager Profile
Former Barcelona boss Guardiola is expected to be offered a new contract at Bayern Munich come the end of the season.
But Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim he will reject the deal and has already verbally agreed with director of football Txiki Begiristain to join City next summer.
Klopp, 48, is all set to be appointed as Liverpool's new manager today after Brendan Rodgers was sacked from the post on Sunday.
The German is currently negotiating his terms and is expected to have his coaching set-up in place come the end of the international break.
